The net at the Cooke Aquaculture fish farm near Cypress Island was estimated to contain 3 million pounds of farmed Atlantic salmon when it broke open last Saturday—leading Washington State officials to urge local fishermen of all stripes to catch as many escaped fish as they possibly can.
