Chris Lovera and his children, Aidan and Nadia, were waiting out a storm in Sequoia National Forest when they were all struck by lightening. “I thought [my dad] was dead cuz I was just screaming at him and I couldn’t see him breathing or moving,” says Aiden in this report. Chris suffered the worst injuries as the bolt wrapped around his body to his feet—but all three lived to tell their stories.
