A 61-year-old Bellingham resident fell to her death on Forbidden Peak in North Cascades National Park Saturday. Susan Bennett was coming down the West Ridge of the peak after successfully summitting with a small group when she fell; rescuers recovered her body from a 30-foot-deep crevasse on Forbidden Glacier.
