Hiker Drowns Crossing Mt. Rainier River

The 22-year-old was swept away in the West Fork of the White River.

Last weekend, a 22-year-old hiker drowned while trying to cross the West Fork of the White River on Mt. Rainer National Park’s Northern Loop Trail. Rangers recovered her body 150 yards downstream.
