“Bionic woman” Mandy Horvath of Colorado Springs, who lost both legs after being hit by a train, successfully climbed the Manitou Incline last month. It took her about four hours to complete the famously punishing ascent, which rises 2,000 feet in less than a mile. Horvath said she climbed for Limb Loss Awareness Month and that she hopes to earn a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
