Goodbye, SLC: The Outdoor Retailer trade show, which showcases the newest outdoor gear and brings together brands, gear shops, and the outdoor industry’s biggest players, announced it will move to Denver for the next five years. Officials estimate it will draw 85,000 people per year and bring in $110 million in revenue. The show left its longtime home in Salt Lake City after Utah lawmakers began lobbying to reduce the size of public lands in the state.
