New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation has invited the public to attend a meeting on the potential designation of Ridgewood Reservoir as wetlands on March 5 in Queens. The DEC reports that most of the area contains seasonally flooded zones, open water, or emergent wetland ecosystems.
