Man Dies in Fall From Half Dome Cables
It was the first death on the Yosemite National Park cables since 2011.

A hiker died after falling from Half Dome’s cables in a thunderstorm last Monday, Yosemite officials confirmed. It was the first death on the cables since 2010, and the first visitor fatality this year.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Rangers dispatched to the scene were able to help the second hiker, and recovered the deceased visitor’s body around 1 p.m. on Tuesday
