Conservation Fund Buys 23,000 acres Near Albany

The Conservation Fund recently purchased 23,053-acre Cowee Forest, within a short drive of Albany, NY, and Bennington, VT, with an eye toward habitat protection and public access to hiking, biking, fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. More than 16,000 of those acres are located in eastern New York.
