Company Apologizes for Hanging Lake Photo

Activewear company's Instagram post showing models doing yoga in the Glenwood Springs lake angered many.

Liquido Active issued an apology last week for its Instagram photo of models and a photographer swimming and doing yoga in the strikingly blue waters of Hanging Lake. Humans can damage the travertine deposits responsible for the lake’s bright blue color, but company owner Renata Facchini said her team didn’t see signs warning hikers not to swim. The post has been deleted.
