After a grizzly attacked Lee Brooke, an elk hunter from Pennsylvania, last October, he was left without a nose or upper lip. But surgeons at Englewood’s Swedish Medical Center have begun a series of surgeries to reconstruct his face. They took bone and skin from his leg to rebuild facial bones and skin; later surgeries will attempt to reattach his nose, which is currently being kept alive on his arm.
