Climber Dies After 100-Foot Fall Near Squaw Valley

A 36-year-old man died last week after slipping off a trail near Squaw Valley and falling 100 feet. The man was on his way to the Big Chief crag with two friends, who intended to camp overnight and get an early start on climbing in the morning. All three men worked for Tahoe ski resorts.
