Aspen Couple Found Dead Near Capitol Peak
Carlin Brightwell and Ryan Marcil, both in their late 20s, likely fell somewhere near Capitol's summit.

According to The Aspen Times, eight people have died climbing Capitol Peak since 2003—and the latest victims were Aspen locals Carlin Brightwell and Ryan Marcil, whose bodies were recovered on Tuesday. Brightwell worked at the Aspen Emporium and Flying Circus; Marcil was on the board of Aspen Strong, a mental health advocacy group in the area.
