Breckenridge-Area Trails Reopen After Wildfire
Fire crews have mostly contained the Peak 2 Fire that closed the trails.

After containing most of the Peak 2 wildfire and finishing hazard tree work near the Breckenridge-area blaze, fire crews reopened several hiking trails in the region. The Miners Creek Trail, Gold Hill Trail, and Peaks Trail are now back in business for hikers, along with the Miners Creek Road. The Peak 2 fire has burned at least 84 acres.
