It’s unusual for a county to turn to public donations to pay for trail work, but that’s exactly what’s happening with Boulder’s Anne E. White Trail. officials say. After the 2013 flood damaged the trail so badly it closed, locals partnered with the Parks and Open Space Foundation to raise money to “revive” it. Community members have helped raise all but $810 of the requested $19,335 so far.
