Source of Bel-Air Wildfire Traced to Homeless Camp

The Skirball Fire, one of several wildfires threatening Southern California, started with a cooking fire in a homeless encampment in a canyon off the 405 freeway, officials reported. The fire destroyed six homes in the Bel-Air area. Politicians and neighbors are currently weighing ways to prevent similar fires in the future.
