Judge Bans Cyanide Devices on Colorado Public Lands

This week an acting Colorado U.S. attorney signed a ban ordering Colorado Wildlife Services to stop using M-44 devices on public lands until federal researchers can study their effect on the environment. The M-44s eject cyanide to kill predator coyotes. Several other groups have filed federal suit to ban the devices nationwide.
