Be careful out there: Snowmelt continues to make California rivers higher and swifter than usual. Last weekend, a 26-year-old slipped in Silliman Creek near the Lodgepole-to-Twin-Lakes Trail and was swept downstream. It was the third drowning at Sequoia National Park this year.
