Arizona Groups Lobby for Public Lands, Water
Environment Day at the state legislature draws action from a variety of conservation organizations.

At this week’s Environment Day at the Arizona State Legislature drew a number of conservation groups to lobby lawmakers in person. The biggest issues: preventing the transfer of federal public lands to the state and the over-pumping of water from rivers like the Upper Verde and San Pedro.
