Ankle Injuries Spark 2 Rescues in Northern New Hampshire

Conservation officers rescued two hikers with debilitating ankle injuries Sunday in New Hampshire. The first slipped while hiking on the rocks below Garfield Falls on the East Branch of the Dead Diamond River, while the second hurt her ankle on the Baldface Circle Trail in the White Mountains. Both were taken to area hospitals.
