Adirondacks Rangers Rescue 5 Lost Hikers in a Week
All 5 were found quickly and were uninjured.

It was a busy week for Search and Rescue in the Adirondacks last week: Rangers rescued no fewer than five lost hikers (plus one dog) in separate incidents. In one case, a man became disoriented on forest roads on Huckleberry Mountain; in another, a woman and her dog got lost while trying to reach a better summit view on Scarface Mountain.
