New Bill Would Give $40 Million to Parks Each Year

Georgia conservationists are pushing a new measure that would send up to 75 percent of state sales tax on outdoor gear to a conservation fund, which would set aside about $40 million per year for Georgia’s parks. Reports say the proposed constitutional amendment has strong bipartisan support.
