9 Communities Get $14 Million in Great Outdoors Colorado Grants
The funds will go to programs that get kids outdoors statewide.

Nine communities earned a total of $14 million in grants from the Great Outdoors Colorado fund last week. The largest winner, a Denver neighborhood group called My Outdoor Colorado Cole, netted almost $2.2 million for Russell Square Park improvements and programming. The other grantees include environmental education programs, a gear library, outdoor science classes, and bike park improvements.
