Maricopa County Parks and Recreation’s “100 Miles in 100 Days” Challenge started November 1, but there’s plenty of time to jump in: The program goes through February 8, 2018. Participants strive to hike, trail run, mountain bike, or horseback ride at least 100 miles (200 miles for bikers and riders) on the county’s 420-plus-mile trail system, joining an online community and winning a chance for a prize along the way.Â
