Don’t let the stated mileage–a measly two clicks–fool you. You can spend hours exploring the Fiery Furnace’s labyrinth of narrow sandstone canyons and fins. Some scrambling, squeezing through tight spaces, and a permit (free) are required, or sign up for a ranger-guided tour. Start at the Fiery Furnace trailhead on the park road, off US 191 north of Moab.
