This aquamarine gem defines classic Glacier scenery. The chill water is guarded by sheer rock walls on three sides, with a trailside waterfall perfectly situated for a lunch break, brilliant wildflowers, frequent grizzly sightings, and an easy, 9-mile round-trip hike. Start early to avoid the crowds. The trailhead is behind the Swiftcurrent Inn in the Many Glacier area.
