Verdict

I always wear my Red Sox cap on warm-weather hikes, which made this clip-on lamp an instant favorite. The onboard solar panel delivers sustainable power without the need for extra cords and panels, and it charges even on overcast days. The three LED bulbs are plenty bright for camp duty and trail hiking (casts a beam up to 100 feet) and last about 12 hours on a full charge. Pros Affordable, light, sustainable. Cons We packed one carelessly and broke a clip.
