Did your senator vote against mining in Missouri’s Mark Twain National Forest last year? Did your representative say yea or nay to expanding the Colorado national monument that protects the tallest sand dunes in North America? Don’t know? You might want to find out before the next big election, and the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) can help. The nonprofit park-advocacy group keeps track of how each congressional representative votes on issues affecting park lands. NPCA issued its Friends of the National Parks Award to 202 members of the 106th Congress who consistently cast their ballots for parks.
