Women Busted With 290 Pounds of Marijuana in Yellowstone
Rangers found the stash while investigating an illegally parked RV.

Cue the Smokey the Bear jokes: Two women were busted for marijuana trafficking in Yellowstone National Park last month when rangers found nearly 300 pounds of pot inside their vehicle.
K2 Radio of Casper, Wyoming reports that Daphne Watkins and Janette Day, both of West Virginia, had parked their RV at the Grant Village Marina Area for the night. The campground wasn’t open at the time, prompting a visit from park rangers. Inside the RV. they found several vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana weighing about 290 pounds total. Watkins had wiped the packages with ammonia to throw off police dogs.
Both women face between five and 40 years in prison along with $5 million in fines if convicted.
