How’s this for a Black Friday deal? Inspired in part by REI’s viral #OptOutside campaign, state and national parks around the country are offering free admission, camping, and other perks on Black Friday this year. Below is a list of the parks that will be participating on November 27 in some way or another.
Visit any of four Arizona REI locations between Saturday, Nov. 21 and Wednesday, Nov. 25 and get a free day pass for entry at one of the state parks.
Forty-nine state parks are offering free admission on Black Friday, but the number of passes is limited– download a pass online beforehand.
The East Bay Regional Park District is waiving fees on Black Friday at all of its 65 parks.
