Watch Yellowstone Tourists Run From a Bear

The black bear charged a group of visitors that had stopped to snap photos.

Proving once again why visitors should always keep a safe distance from wildlife, a mama black bear put a scare into a group of tourists in Yellowstone National Park over the weekend.

The Washington Post reports that the bear charged a group of onlookers who had gathered to snap photos of her and her three cubs. A video recorded by a park staff member shows some of the tourists running from the animal while others move slowly, trying to stay out of the way:

No injuries were reported from the encounter.

“It serves as a reminder that wildlife can be unpredictable. For your safety and theirs, respect wildlife and give them room to roam,” the Montana Fish, Wildlife, & Parks department said in a Facebook post.
