Watch These Hikers (Sort Of) Walk on Water
The ice on this Slovakian lake is as clear as glass.

OK, so we all know that humans can’t really walk on water, but these hikers in Slovakia’s High Tatras Mountains came about as close as anyone could ever hope. A video posted to YouTube Monday by user Tomas Nunuk shows two trekkers stepping gingerly on a crystal-clear layer of ice, creating the illusion of walking right across the gorgeous alpine lake. Hardly a miracle, but undeniably beautiful all the same.
