Moose may look like gentle giants, but they can be downright fierce when provoked. Case in point: this footage from a wildlife camera in Sweden, which shows a mama moose kicking and lunging at two attacking wolves in an attempt to protect her calf at all costs. Check it out:
Though it’s inspiring (and somewhat rare) to actually see a moose fighting back against predators, The Huffington Post notes that this encounter likely didn’t end well for mother and child.
