As Steve Casimiro over at The Adventure Life points out, bears haven’t exactly had a great run of press lately. So what better way to remind ourselves of why we love the fuzzy buggers so much than watching cubs playing with their mama?
German-skier-turned-Canadian-wildlife-filmer Klaus Gretzmacher filmed this footage off the coast of Glendale, British Columbia. From what we can tell, he seems to be using traditional wildlife shooter skills rather than Treadwell techniques—namely, using a telephoto from afar rather than trying to pet them. His results are equally impressive, and probably better for his health.
As a bonus, he’s added some cheesy, anthropomorphic narration—exactly like Walt Disney used to do in the 50s and 60s. Check it:

Is it just me, or does Jack the Bear sound a little like Wilford Brimley?
