Michelle Smith is one tough climber. While climbing in the Tetons, she fell on an icy stretch of the Valhalla Traverse and shattered her tib-fib. Did she (justifiably) cry and moan about the pain? No: She whipped out her video camera and filmed her rescue from start to finish. The result is a fascinating anatomy of a high-alpine rescue, from the rare perspective of the injured. Check it:
