Because dried mopani worms have three times as much protein as beef, would you swap your jerky for them on the trail? London-based food company Edible thinks you should, and also try some raw scorpion, oven baked tarantula, and chocolate covered ants while you’re at it.
Some brave BACKPACKER staffers gulped down these crawly creatures and weighed in on their texture, trailworthiness, and taste (you’ll never guess which one had the editor-in-chief thinking crab).
