A dark weekend at Yosemite just got darker: Rangers recovered the body of a hiker and park concessionaire employee who appears to have fallen to his death off a cliff near mirror lake.

23-year-old Christopher Hale of Gainesville, Fla., was reported missing on Sunday, and rangers found his body yesterday. The exact cause of his death hasn’t been determined yet and is still under investigation.

The news comes after Saturday’s tragedy, wherein a man fell off of Half-Dome to his death in the middle of a hailstorm, while over 40 other hikers watched.
