This is just a friendly reminder from The Daily Dirt to hit up your neighborhood national park this weekend: As we previously reported, the National Park Service will waive fees for three weekends this summer. This weekend, June 20-21, is the first.
All 147 units in the park system will drop fees. Park officials expect high visitation this summer, and it could peak during this weekend, so you should get deep into the backcountry if possible.
