“Jobless recovery” still wracking your wallet? That’s still no excuse not to hit up a national park. Just in time to help your broke self, the National Park service announced its free admission days for 2011. The remaining fee-free days are (drumroll, please):
- April 16-24
(National Park Week) - June 21
(First day of summer) - September 24
(Public Lands Day) - November 11-13
(Veterans Day weekend)
Park officials note that local concessionaires may offer companion deals for food, drink, and that buffalo-stamped towel you’ve always pined for.
