Pack redrock views, crumbling ruins, and Front Range panoramas into one 2.3-mile loop, only 19 miles southwest of the Denver skyline. Start from the West Trailhead, going right on Tower Trail at the first fork. Stay on Tower Trail until you reach the fire tower itself, where’ll you’ll find wide-open views of Denver, Red Rocks, and the Front Range. Take a left on Meadow Trail at the next junction, then when it ends go left again on Castle Trail. Pass the ruins of the Walker Home on your way back to the trailhead.
