In May 2012, Kim Dinan and Brian Patton left their 9-5 jobs, sold their house and all of their possessions, and set out to travel the world. Since that time they’ve traveled to over 20 countries on five continents and completed some of the worlds most epic hikes.

Kim and Brian spent three-months hiking and backpacking through the National Parks of the U.S. west before heading to South America to walk the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. They’ve explored the Patagonia region in both Argentina and Chile, and walked to Annapurna Base Camp and the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. They’ve hiked unknown trails in Ecuador and India, rafted he holy Kali Gandaki River in Nepal, and snorkeled with Sea Lions in the Galapagos Islands. Kim walked across the entire length of Spain on the Camino de Santiago.

They’ve climbed into the deepest canyon in the world (Colca Canyon, Peru) and backpacked amongst the highest mountains in Nepal. Still, their favorite place to escape is the Wallowa Mountains in Eastern Oregon, where the solitude is vast and the stars shine so brightly that the Milky Way dots the night sky.
