Join Backpacker’s all star team Becky and Keith Unruh for an engaging 75-minute seminar full of trail tested tips, regional trip advice and outdoor gear. They travel across the country throughout 48 states, present at 60 outdoor realizers, attend 5 outdoor summer festivals and get out more on the trails through the end of October!
2015 Ambassadors
Becky and Keith Unruh define themselves as seasonal nomads. Together they have lived in five unique National Parks throughout the country, three different ski resorts and the sunny Florida Keys. In-between their times spent in these pristine wilderness areas, they have ventured overseas to explore 30+ countries on four continents. Highlights from their international travels include trekking to Everest Base camp in the imposing Himalaya mountain range and helping to build a school for impoverished children in Laos. When an urge for an even grander experience beckons, they’ve been known to heed the calling by undertaking ambitious adventures such as thru-hiking from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail or cycling from Virginia to Oregon on the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail.
