Gear Test: Sexy Hotness Sleeping Bags, Cheesecake, & the Entire Editors' Choice/Gear Guide Issue
It has been a busy week in gear land, as we put the entire 2010 Editors' Choice issue online, and broke a few internet records with a cheeky sleeping bag review.

If you’ve only been trolling the BACKPACKER blogs lately you may have missed a few great gear items we’ve rolled out on the GEAR channel the last two weeks:

We’re proud to say people can’t get enough of this photo slideshow for a pair of
ALITE Sexy Hotness Sleeping Bags.
We’re sure it has nothing to do with the pretty lady we used to promo the bags or the fact that the sleeping bag’s name sets off Internet sensors.
This afternoon we launched a delicious review of
Packit Gourmet’s Cheescakes
which segues nicely to the fact that we launched our entire
Editors’ Choice 2010/Gear Guide
issue online (which includes many other packaged food reviews). So far only one person has emailed about broken links…which we promptly fixed. There are now over 200 new pieces of gear swirling around the site. It’s only the most popular issue of the year and now it’s online for free.
Which brings me to our last accomplishment, a second slideshow devoted to the
High Peaks Alpamayo 55 Backpack
a budget back for the skier, anglers among us.
None of this would be possible without our new group of online testers, who are doubling their efforts in May. Enjoy!
