Can a wolf take a grizzly bear in a fight? If he’s got 11 homies backing him or her up, maybe. That’s what Jason Ryan saw at the north shore of Jackson Lake in Grand Tetons National Park on Monday, Sept. 9 when a pack of wolves harassed a grizzly bear for two-and-a-half whole minutes. Lucky for us, he put the ursine v. lupine gladiatorial madness on YouTube:
Choice moment comes at 1:10, when that white wolf storms out of nowhere to bite that bruin in the ass. If that guy’s not the new leader of the pack, I demand a recount.
