Do odorproof bags work? And are they any more effective than standard zip-top bags for keeping in smells?

Answer:

Yes, there are odorproof bags that are FDA approved and do indeed allow less odor to escape. They are more expensive than standard zip-top bags. If you’re asking if these bags would cause bears or other animals to be less attracted to your camp, my guess is also a yes. But I say “guess” because these bags have never, to my knowledge, been tested with actual bears or other animals.
