With a packraft this stowable, durability is usually a bonus, not a selling point. But the Rogue-Lite strikes a balance between bulk (it scrunches to the size of a roll of paper towels) and above-average toughness, courtesy of its Kevlar-reinforced, 210-denier nylon floor. We hiked it in 5 miles and paddled an alpine tarn in Colorado’s Mt. Zirkel Wilderness, where it shrugged off encounters with submerged rocks. Inflated, the Rogue-Lite is a hair over 7 feet long and 3 feet wide; it blows up in five minutes with the included inflation bag. Unlike with most packrafts, a one-way valve allows you to max out air pressure for increased rigidity. $825; 4 lbs. 14 oz.
