Our take Keeping your gear from getting wet can make or break a trip, and dry bags generally do an excellent job. But separating competitors in the category can be difficult, which is why this series from Sea to Summit stands out. A clear, TPU viewing window takes up nearly all of one side of the bag, making it easy for you to view what’s inside and grab it. With seven different sizes to choose from, you can fit everything from small electronics (1-liter) to sleeping bags and clothes (35-liter). The bag’s 70-denier nylon fabric resists snags and tears as well. Our tester noted that the roll-top closure was typical, but the extra D-ring meant no stress on the buckle when he hung it from tree branches, an area where his other dry bags have commonly failed. Drawback: It lacks an air purge valve.
