Will bear spray work on a mountian lion? And is pepper spray just as effective?

Answer:
First, bear spray and pepper spray are the same product. Second, bear spray has been tested on African lions and jaguars, and it worked, repelling the animals. But bear spray has never been tested, as far as I know, on our mountain lions. It might work. In fact, I think there is a good chance it would work. But no one knows for sure—so I would not depend on it. —Buck
