Would taking an over-the-counter antihistamine (like Zyrtec) before getting in the tent help get rid of the itch from mosquitoes or other itchy things for the next day?

Answer:

A: Many antihistamines, including Zyrtec, are very good at relieving itching from bug bites. A dose of Zyrtec should last for 24 hours, so, yep, it should still be working the next day. Some other antihistamines might not last that long. Be sure to follow the directions on the label.
