Camp Stove Reviews

Jetboil Stash

The best all-in-one kitchen of 2021.

Simplifying your kit is a worthy goal for ultralighters and luxury hounds alike, and this all-in-one product has both camps covered. It includes a Stash stove, a .8-liter pot, and a stabilizer; at 7.1 ounces, it’s the lightest such combo on the market. During a paddling trip on Lake Champlain, Vermont, we found that the stove delivered on its claim to boil 2 cups of water in 2 minutes and 30 seconds, middle of the pack for the category. Jetboil’s signature bottom pot ring blocks gusts and maximizes heat transfer, and the simmer control is adequate for everything but soup. The entire kit, including a standard 100-gram fuel can (sold separately), nests together in the pot, keeping volume low. The pot is outfitted with a sturdy handle and a small plastic lid that has a tiny (but not mesh) strainer, and it also has measuring ticks on the outside.
